FLORIDA – Publix has expanded COVID-19 registration from two days a week to three.
Registration will now be offered on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays starting at 7 a.m.
Previously, Publix offered registration only on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Lee, Charlotte, DeSoto and Collier County appointments will be available through the Publix vaccination registration site on the designated days.
People 65 and older and healthcare workers are eligible to sign up for appointments in multiple Florida counties.
Publix advised people to not leave the page because if room becomes available, they will be automatically redirected to a page with instructions on how to book an appointment.

Publix has updated their vaccination registration page to show a percentage that shows the availability of appointments next to each county.
Vaccination appointments are scheduled online only. Appointments can not be made by calling Publix or Publix Pharmacy.
Publix said they are actively engaging with customers on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. Customers can also call the Publix helpline after 9 a.m. at 1-800-242-1227.
