FLORIDA – Publix has canceled vaccine appointment registration for Friday, Feb 19 due to weather-related issues.
The online appointment registration typically opens at 7 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays after Publix officials announced scheduling expansion earlier this week.
The scheduling system would have allowed customers to book appointments for next week, Publix officials said. However, if a customer already has an appointment through Publix for their second dose of the vaccine, their appointment will go on as scheduled.
Publix said they will announce when the next opportunity to book an appointment will be but have not yet said whether Monday’s booking schedule will be affected.

People 65 and older and healthcare workers are eligible to sign up for appointments in multiple Florida counties. The next opportunity to sign up for the Publix vaccine is expected to be Monday, Feb 22.
