Kate Middleton and William’s vows discussed by Lorraine
Members of the Royal Family have spent today publicly wishing Kate and William a happy anniversary on social media. And it appears the Sussexes have also sent a private message to Kate and William, a spokesperson for the Sussexes confirmed to The Daily Beast.Kate, William, Harry and Meghan were once dubbed the “Fab Four” but relations have been strained since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced their bombshell departure from the Firm, dubbed Megxit.
The Cambridges released two portraits to mark the occasion yesterday that were taken at their home in Kensington Palace earlier this week, with other royals also sharing throwback images of the couple’s wedding day on Instagram.
The new pictures were taken by photographer Chris Floyd and capture William and Kate smiling and in a relaxed mood.
The couple are also seen cuddling each other in one shot while William stares intently at his beaming wife in the other.
The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall’s official Twitter account posted a congratulatory message as well, complete with a party popper emoji.

They are wearing complementary blue outfits in the anniversary photographs.
William is in a denim shirt, while Kate is wearing a mid-blue dress that is crossed at the waist and has frills at the cuffs.
William married his former university flatmate Kate, Westminster Abbey on April 29, 2011 after an eight-year relationship.
Over the last decade, Kate and William have achieved a lot together, as they welcomed three children: Prince George, 7, Princess Charlotte, 5, and three-year-old Prince Louis.

Kate has also proven herself in her role as a senior royal, as she has focused her charity work on early years, young people’s mental health, the visual arts and promoting the benefits of outdoor life.
During the Covid crisis, the couple have been supporting key workers and frontline NHS staff with video calls and face-to-face engagements when permitted, as well as promoting the vaccine drive.
They also became joint patrons of NHS Charities Together.
The traditional gift on a 10th wedding anniversary is tin, which symbolises strength and durability.

However, the last year has not been plain-sailing for the royal couple.
The Cambridge couple have been forced to deal with the fallout from Meghan and Harry sending shockwaves through the Firm by stepping down, as senior royals, as well as William’s rift with his brother, and the Sussexes’ bombshell Oprah interview.
The Sussexes also plunged the monarchy into crisis weeks ago when they accused the Royal Family of racism and the institution of failing to support Meghan when she was suicidal.
Kate was publicly singled out by Meghan as having made her cry in the run-up to her 2018 wedding in a disagreement over flower girl dresses.

Meghan said: “I don’t say that to be disparaging to anyone because it was a really hard week of the wedding and she was upset about something.
“A few days before the wedding, Kate was upset about something. Yes, the issue was correct about flower girl dresses.”
Kate has not publicly responded to the claims but Buckingham Palace later said “recollections may vary”.
William was also the first royal to speak out against the claims as he told reporters that the Royal Family were “not a racist family”.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry also spoke to Oprah about his strained relationship with his brother William, who is celebrating his 10th wedding anniversary with Kate this week.
The Duke of Sussex said they were on “different paths” but that he “loved him to bits”.
He said: “As I’ve said before, I love William to bits. He’s my brother.
“We’ve been through hell together. I mean, we have a shared experience. But we’re on different paths.

“The relationship is space at the moment.
“And time heals all things, hopefully.”
The Royal Family was also hit with a further blow at the start of this month as Prince Philip died at the age of 99.
Kate and William also released a video of them with their children to say thanks to their supporters for the well-wishes on their anniversary.
