GEORGETOWN, (KWTX) – A Round Rock man arrested on a warrant charging five counts of possession of child pornography with a prior conviction remained in jail Friday.
The Texas Attorney General’s Office Child Exploitation Unit arrested Peter Ray Craig on May 20 after an investigation that started with a National Center for Missing and Exploited Children CyberTipline report that images of child pornography had been uploaded to an online photo storage platform, the attorney general’s office said Friday in a press release.
The arrest came after investigators executed a search warrant at Craig’s home in Round Rock where more images of child pornography were found, authorities said.
“During an interview, Craig confessed to uploading and storing files of child pornography,” authorities said.
Investigators seized his cellphone.
Craig is held in lieu of $50,000 bond, according to online records.
