Paralympic Games Day 7: What to watch Monday night, Tuesday morning – NBC Olympics

Track & Field

A pair of wheelchair races highlight the track & field schedule on Day 6. In the first session, an anticipated showdown between Switzerland’s Marcel Hug and Team USA’s Daniel Romanchuk awaits in the men’s 1500m T54 final (10:46 p.m. ET). Hug, nicknamed the “Silver Bullet”, won gold in last week’s 5000m race, and Romanchuk took gold in the 400m race.

The second session includes the women’s 1500m T54 final (7:56 a.m. ET) with Tatyana McFadden and Susannah Scaroni of the United States. McFadden is one medal away from the 20th of her Paralympic career, and Scaroni is seeking her second gold of the Tokyo Games.

Defending Paralympic champion Deja Young and reigning world champion Brittni Mason in the women’s 100m T47 final (7:18 a.m. ET) will be another must-see event.
